"Parkour, that's where people run through the city and walk up walls, isn't it?" In short, YES.
This description is often used by outsiders to describe what parkour is all about. Like most movement arts, parkour has also changed and evolved since its inception. However, one of the original ideas still exists today: to have fun with movement. In the process, active and interested people get to know themselves better.
What do I think I am capable of achieving? What are my limits of what is possible? Can a supposed obstacle be perceived as an opportunity? And is parkour perhaps more than just one sport among many? These questions may not all be answered in detail in a short space of time, but they are part of a journey that you embark on when you embrace parkour as part of your everyday exercise routine. For many years now, e-werk has been offering parkour as part of its youth and exercise culture. Both as a fixed, weekly workshop and in summer as a more compact version.
Once again this year, we would like to give beginners and advanced participants the opportunity to embark on this journey together, at least for a while. If you would like to experience and try out parkour together with others under the guidance of an experienced coach, then we look forward to receiving your registration for this year's parkour summer camp! Join us as we head to various parkour parks in the region, learn new things together and simply have a great, albeit strenuous, time with great people.
