German Apple Wine Theatre

The German Apple Wine Theatre (Deutsche Äppelwoi-Theater) is an absolute must for both Hessians and fans of Hessen. Its shows are comical and colourful, subtle and profound, fast-paced and full of musical highlights from the 1960s to the 1990s. Oftentimes, the audience is drawn actively into the show: Their questions and comments are meant to test the improvisational talents of the thespians on stage. The theatre is inspired by the legendary "Blaue Bock", a highly popular TV entertainment show where guests are served apple wine, snacks and other beverages.
