Information about our event rooms and *relaxedperformances:

Description of performance venue e-werk Halle
The performance space for theater events at e-werk is the hall. It is a multi-purpose hall with a climbing wall at the back of the stage. It is covered by a black curtain approx. 3 meters high during performances. The seats are located on a metal stand with seat cushions. There are one or two rows of cushioned seats on the floor in front of the five-tiered stand as well as wheelchair spaces.

Please let us know if you are coming with a wheelchair, as we only have limited space here or will move the cushions accordingly.

In the performance room there is a door to the courtyard and one to our foyer. You can leave and re-enter the performance space at any time via the foyer. You will also find our toilets there.

Admission starts 5 minutes before the performance begins. People with visible and invisible disabilities who need a special seat or would like a more relaxed entrance so that they can find their seat in peace and get used to the lighting and room situation are welcome to contact us in advance (in person, by phone or email).

Silence is not a must - noises from the audience are welcome.

We ask that you do not eat or drink anything in the performance space.

Before and after the theater performance, our café is open during the week with drinks, snacks and games. For weekend performances, the foyer is open before and after the performance, where drinks and snacks are available.

Description of the Club/Café venue
The front entrance is at ground level (through the corridor) and the rear entrance is through the staircase (with disabled toilet) across the corridor into the club, which is also a passageway into the café.

The club is a windowless room with dark gray walls, a DJ booth, a foosball table and various lighting elements, suitable for dance/party events. The club is occasionally used for exhibitions.

The café is a bright room with large windows on two walls, a small stage, a bar and a platform in between. This is where you will find our info point, where you will find a contact person during opening hours, as well as the mixing desk for the stage equipment.

The walls and windows behind the stage are covered with black curtains during concerts.

There are sofas and small tables with chairs. Throughout the café you will find objects and exhibits that point to our main focus.

There is a cupboard with various board games that you can use during opening hours.

Drinks and small snacks (pretzels, nachos with dip, bars and free fruit) are available from our staff at the counter. The prices are very reasonable, as we run a non-profit café as a municipal facility.
