Playgrounds and football pitches

Bad Homburg has a total area of around 51 km². Of this, around 56,885 square meters are playgrounds and 19,910 square meters are football, skate and streetball pitches.

Nine playground districts

Further areas for playing can be found on the grounds of schools and daycare centers as well as housing and building cooperatives. The total of 35 playgrounds, 9 football pitches and 13 combined pitches are divided into nine playground districts: Dornholzhausen, Gartenfeld, Kirdorf, Berliner Siedlung, Hardtwald, Innenstadt, Gonzenheim, Ober-Eschbach and Ober-Erlenbach.
