Viatris celebrated its first birthday on November 16, 2021. The German headquarters are based in Bad Homburg v. d. Höhe. The Viatris Group Germany includes established pharmaceutical companies such as Mylan Germany, MEDA Pharma, Pfizer OFG Germany and Madaus. One year ago, the global healthcare company Viatris was founded. To mark the occasion, the Viatris Group Germany celebrated its first birthday in mid-November together with its employees. Bad Homburg's Lord Mayor Alexander Hetjes was among the guests of honor. "We are very happy to know that such a well-established and future-oriented healthcare company like Viatris has its German headquarters in Bad Homburg," said Hetjes. The Viatris letters have recently been shining on the building at the Bad Homburg site together with the Viatris globe.

One of the best-known over-the-counter products of the Viatris Group Germany is Kamillosan®. The success of camomile as a herbal medicine began more than 100 years ago in a pharmacy in Bad Homburg, until the first Kamillosan products were launched on the market in 1921. They are made from the active ingredient-rich extract of Manzana® camomile and are used in various dosage forms to heal wounds and for the treatment of various indications.
