City Council President Welcomes a Group of Students from Chur

Bad Homburg v. d. Höhe. A group of students from the Swiss sister city of Chur visited Bad Homburg in early September. City Council President Dr. Alfred Etzrodt welcomed the approximately 40 students, along with their three teachers and principal Iris Marberger, at Villa Wertheimer.

The visit was organized by the Humboldtschule and the Giacometti School in Chur. Teacher Mirco Ohlmer put together the itinerary with the students from the Humboldtschule. Among other activities, the mixed German-Swiss group took a sightseeing tour of Bad Homburg, including a climb up the Weißer Turm, and went on an excursion to Frankfurt to visit the Römerberg and the Maintower.

After three days, it was already time to say “Uf Wiederluege” to the guests from Chur, who thoroughly enjoyed their stay in Bad Homburg.
