Bad Homburg acts for the city center

Shopping in Bad Homburg is fun. The atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of the city is pleasant and the range of goods on offer leaves nothing to be desired. Louisenstraße and its side streets are still home to small, owner-managed stores. There are also branches of well-known chains and a wide range of restaurants. It is not for nothing that Bad Homburg is one of the most popular shopping towns in the Rhine-Main region. To ensure that this remains the case, the city management team works in the city center with the aim of making Bad Homburg more attractive for residents, visitors and businesses in the long term.

On this page you will find an overview of the city management's current projects.

Pop-up! Bad Homburg - A breath of fresh air for the city center

In order to support the establishment of creative concepts and to continue to promote a mix relevant to the city center, the "Pop-Up! Bad Homburg" project was launched as part of the state's "Future City Center" program. This supports innovative business ideas - in order to provide long-term stimulus for the retail trade and the city center of Bad Homburg.

City deckchairs

With the "Please take a seat" campaign, the city wants to contribute to a better quality of stay when shopping in the city center. The chairs with a summery design and cheerful quotes are to be placed in front of the stores during opening hours and encourage people to linger and shop.
