IT security concept

The aim of the security concept created by Bad Homburg is to create a security standard based on BSI baseline protection, which on the one hand provides the framework conditions for the future implementation of IT systems and processes, and on the other hand enables the existing IT systems and processes to be evaluated and appropriate measures to be developed. Essentially, an IT security concept and the resulting measures protect the administration's entire IT landscape from threats.

The IT security concept secures sensitive data, including citizens' data. It prevents cyberattacks such as hacking and malware, ensures legal compliance and guarantees the availability of IT services. It also saves costs by preventing security incidents and data loss.

A strong IT security concept strengthens the reputation of the administration, enables efficient security management, risk assessment and ensures continuity. Overall, it protects the IT infrastructure, ensures legal compliance and increases process efficiency in order to strengthen citizens' trust and improve service quality.
