Inspired by the gypsy swing of the Hot Club de France with its guitarist Django Reinhardt, NID DE POULE plays chansons that tell of unforgettable nights on the Loire or life in an Alsatian town. But there are also penguins, snails and crickets in the songs, which reflect the range of French music from quiet melancholy to pure joie de vivre.
