Free Evangelical Church Congregation

The community centre of the Free Evangelical Church of Bad Homburg was inaugurated at Sodener Straße 18 in 1984. With its many windows, the building, which is surrounded by a communal garden including playground, captivates with its inviting transparency. The congregation has been seated in Sodener Straße since 1962. Directly opposite, one finds the old community hall, which is still used today as a café and event venue. The congregation itself is in fact much older: After its foundation in 1886, it first met on a number of different rental premises, then on the Mühlberg, on Louisenstraße and, from 1899, at Elisabethenstraße 19a.
