The Bad Homburg Network of Women's Associations and Organizations is an association of clubs and organizations that deal with women's issues and women's affairs. It meets regularly up to six times a year.
The network

There is a wide range of exciting apprenticeships and study subjects - especially in the STEM field. However, half of all girls and boys opt for the same ten. MINT stands for mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology.
Clichés and traditional role models are restrictive! Unfortunately, the cliché that certain training courses and professions are more for men or women persists.

We are players from companies, schools and institutions in the Hochtaunus district. the alliance was founded in 2009 on the initiative of the municipal women's representative in the Hochtaunus district. Our aim is to open up the range of apprenticeships to girls in particular and to promote and utilize their potential in the so-called MINT professions.
Men and women have equal rights. The state promotes the actual implementation of equal rights and works towards the elimination of existing disadvantages.
Equal rights for women and men
The realization of the constitutional mandate of equal rights for women and men is also a task of the municipalities. The establishment of women's offices or comparable measures ensures that this mandate is implemented at municipal level. This area of responsibility is to be carried out by a woman and, as a rule, assigned to a full-time elected official.
The Hessian municipal code does not stipulate the specific tasks and resources of the women's offices. However, the municipalities are obliged to ensure the effective work of women's representatives. This is an obligatory self-administration task.
The concept of gender mainstreaming is intended to supplement the traditional promotion of women. It is no longer just the task of the Women's and Equal Opportunities Officers to advocate gender equality, but rather the decision-makers in all political and administrative areas should take into account the different interests of women and men in Bad Homburg v. d. Höhe takes account of the political objective of equality between women and men by introducing the gender mainstreaming strategy through the resolution of the city council on March 17, 2005.
