Running routes

The towns of Bad Homburg v.d.Höhe and Friedrichsdorf have jointly signposted a fixed running route through the Hardtwald forest. It is suitable for joggers and walkers and has different route lengths of 5, 3.5 and 2.3 kilometers.

The running route starts at the forest cemetery, where there are good parking facilities. However, walkers and joggers can also start at Philosophenweg or Am Pilgerrain. The route is also easily accessible from the Hardtwaldschule in Seulberg. Under the leadership of the Bad Homburg green spaces product area, a water-bound surface was laid on the paths, the route was surveyed and the information boards were revised.
