The sports facilities on Niederstedter Weg are home to the Homburg Gymnastics Club (HTG). Various ball sports as well as judo and gymnastics can be practiced here.

The RSG Fichtenhof offers a large indoor riding arena (20 m x 60 m), a large show jumping arena (50 m x 90 m) and a dressage arena (20 m x 40 m). In addition, there is a covered horse walker, a treadmill and several paddocks.

Homburger Schützengesellschaft 1390 e.V. The Homburger Schützengesellschaft has an "open-air" area for archery, a shooting hall for small bore or air pistol and a covered shooting range with an open-air course.

The "Bahnengolf-Sportverein Bad Homburg e.V." operates the minigolf course. Non-members can also play here. The course complies with international regulations and can be used as a venue for all types of tournaments.

The 0.7 hectare fishing pond in Dornholzhausen is leased to the Frankfurter Fischereiverein e.V., Bad Homburg section. Carp, tench, rainbow trout and whitefish can be fished there.

The Bürgerhaus Kirdorf has a bowling alley with three lanes. If you would like to hire the bowling alley, please contact the tenant.

The facility, which is owned by the Bad Homburg Riding and Driving Club, has an indoor riding arena (40m x 20m), a large outdoor riding arena, 2 paddocks and stable buildings with indoor and outdoor boxes.

You can play on 9 clay courts at the Bad Homburg tennis club. The facility also has a clubhouse with a large terrace.

The golf course in the spa gardens is the oldest in Germany. It was laid out back in 1889 at the instigation of English spa guests. Today's 6-hole golf course consists of a par 3 course, the shortest hole of which is 60 meters long. The longest hole measures 120 meters. There is also a clubhouse on the golf course, which is architecturally based on the original from 1901.

In addition to the Old Course in the Kurpark, Bad Homburg also has an 18-hole golf course. It is located on the edge of the Taunus, on the Röderwiesen Aue nature reserve.

In addition, there is a covered outdoor arena with an indoor lunging circle, an outdoor lunging circle, 4 all-weather sand paddocks and paddocks.

The Ober-Erlenbach sports community (SGO) facility not only offers several clay tennis courts, but also an artificial turf tennis court.

The facilities of the RFV Eschbach-Erlenbach e.V. offer a 20m x 40m indoor riding arena with a grandstand. The club also has an outdoor arena.

TSV Ober-Erlenbach has a clay court facility for its tennis department. A total of five courts are available.

The beach volleyball court is open in the summer season from April 1 to October 15. Public use is permitted at set times (see sign on the court).

The city has various outdoor fitness facilities.

The city has a large number of football pitches throughout the city. There are also streetball facilities, roller skating rinks and a skate park for sports enthusiasts. Please note the usage times on site.

The towns of Bad Homburg v.d.Höhe and Friedrichsdorf have jointly signposted a fixed running route through the Hardtwald forest. It is suitable for joggers and walkers and has different route lengths of 5, 3.5 and 2.3 kilometers.
