Gonzenheim local history museum

The Gonzenheim Local History Museum is located in a former farmstead dating back to 1619, the Kitzenhof. It was opened in 2013 at the suggestion of the Gonzenheim History Working Group.

The exhibition presents the history of the village in detail through the ages, including the history of the Kitzenhof farm. Early historical finds from Gonzenheim can also be admired. Everyday objects, jewelry and weapons from the Franconian and Roman periods are on display.

Opening hours

The museum is open every Sunday from 3 to 5 pm, except during the Hessian school vacations. Admission and guided tours are free.
