The janitor at Gustavsgarten came up with the idea for the play box. His name is Mariusz Filipow. He often saw groups of children playing in the garden. The children came from kindergartens and schools.

The city was looking for sponsors for the toys. The city found sponsors. The Karstadt store in Bad Homburg and Sporthaus Taunus helped. They filled the old road salt crate with toys and sports equipment. There is still room in the box. So sponsors should get in touch.

The box is a test. Everyone should put the play equipment back. If it works, the idea could be used more often.

So dear children: HAVE FUN. Please put everything back. Then everyone will enjoy playing for a long time.
