Games box in the Gustavsgarten

In the unlocked box, which was produced and sponsored by the depot, children will find balls, frisbees, a badminton set, a crocket game and a skittles game, among other things. They can use these games free of charge. "We hope that this will make the garden even more exciting for children," says Dieter Kraft, Head of Social Affairs.

The idea for the play box came from the janitor of the Gustavsgarten, Mariusz Filipow. He came up with the idea because he kept seeing kindergarten and school groups playing in the meadows when they visited the Gustavsgarten.

The town looked for sponsors for the toys and found what they were looking for: The Bad Homburg branch of Karstadt and Sporthaus Taunus filled the former road salt crate with play and sports equipment. There is still room in the box. So sponsors forward!

The box is a trial run. If the principle of everyone honestly putting back the play equipment works, the idea could catch on.

So dear children: HAVE FUN and please put everything back. So that everyone can enjoy playing for a long time.
