The "Mondorf le Domaine Thermal" spa center offers state-of-the-art treatment and therapy facilities as well as sports and leisure facilities. The municipality of Bad Mondorf has a population of around 4,600 and consists of the villages of Altwies, Bad Mondorf and Ellingen. Bad Mondorf is home to Luxembourg's only casino, the "Casino 2000". Opened in 1983, the casino offers not only gaming rooms but also restaurants, dancing and an entertainment program with internationally renowned artists.
