Tasks of investment management
The city has direct or indirect holdings in a total of 30 companies. Around 550 employees work in the city's own operations and companies. Investment management provides all information relevant to management.
The main tasks of investment management include
- Advising the municipal representatives in the executive bodies and other committees
- Monitoring compliance with the obligations of the associated companies under company law, contract and articles of association
- Analyzing the annual financial statements and business plans and preparing the resolutions to be passed by the responsible political bodies
- Implementation of internal Group reporting to obtain information on the course of business during the year and reporting to the responsible political bodies
- Assisting with the formation, transformation and restructuring of companies
- Preparation of the annual investment report to inform the municipal bodies and citizens
