Foreigners' Advisory Council

The Foreigners' Advisory Council in Bad Homburg v. d. Höhe was founded in 1981. The Foreigners' Advisory Council is directly and democratically elected by the foreign residents and is a member of the - agah - "Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Ausländerbeirate Hessen Landesausländerbeirat" (umbrella organization of the Hessian Foreigners' Advisory Councils). Wherever the interests of the foreign population are affected, the advice and cooperation of the Foreigners' Advisory Council is required.

It advocates a local integration policy and campaigns against unequal treatment and discrimination.

The Bad Homburg v. d. Höhe Foreigners' Advisory Council represents the special interests of the foreign population vis-à-vis the administration and politicians, where it has a say and the right to be heard and make proposals in the town council.
