Therefore, please try to avoid placing bundled paper or large packaging next to the garbage can.
The Dual Systems (DSD) are exclusively responsible for the disposal of lightweight plastic packaging throughout Germany. Following a Europe-wide invitation to tender, DSD has awarded the collection to the company KNETTENBRECH + GURDULIC Service GmbH & Co.
DSD has determined the bag collection for the city of Bad Homburg v. d. Höhe. KNETTENBRECH + GURDULIC Service GmbH & Co. KG distributes two rolls of yellow bags to each household at the beginning of the year. You can obtain additional rolls in quantities suitable for households from the city store or at the recycling centers.
Residential buildings with 11 or more residential units also have the option of having a yellow garbage can provided. To do this, please contact the company KNETTENBRECH + GURDULIC Service GmbH & Co KG, which is commissioned by DSD to collect the waste.
Property owners of smaller residential units can purchase a yellow garbage can privately, which is emptied as part of the bag collection.
There are no additional charges for collection/emptying.

Waste garbage cans can only be ordered, canceled, increased or reduced in size in writing by the property owner.
For residual waste and organic waste garbage cans, the first change to the number of bins per connected property is free of charge. The fee for each subsequent change is € 21.43 per transaction.

Change requests can also be sent informally by e-mail to the Bad Homburg v. d. Höhe depot (abfalltonnen@bbh.bad-homburg.de).
As changes to the waste paper garbage can are not relevant to charges, these can also be made by telephone.
The use of a shared residual or organic waste garbage can by private
private households is possible on application.
