The blue garbage can is for example for

  • Waste paper and cardboard
  • Forms
  • Writing paper
  • Cardboard, paper packaging
  • Leaflets
  • Catalogs
  • Exercise books
  • Newspapers, magazines and magazines
  • Books without covers

Attention! The following do not belong in the blue garbage can:

  • Solid and waterproof paper
  • Aluminum foil, plastics, polystyrene
  • Heavily soiled and coated papers
  • Wax and oily papers
  • Parchment and hygiene paper
  • Diapers
  • Beverage packaging
  • Thermal paper/receipts
  • Pizza boxes

Due to the recent sharp increase in the amount of paper provided, it is becoming increasingly difficult for our employees to provide the calculated daily output. In addition, cardboard packaging provided next to the garbage can means an additional heavy back burden.

Therefore, please refrain from placing bundled paper or large packaging next to the garbage can, you can order a larger or additional paper garbage can free of charge!

Change requests can be made informally by e-mail to the Bad Homburg v. d. Höhe depot(abfalltonnen@bbh.bad-homburg.de) or by telephone on 06172 6775 75.

You also have the option of disposing of waste paper at the recycling center.

Waste paper garbage cans must be put out by 6.00 a.m. on the collection day (please place them facing the street and, if possible, so that the sidewalk remains passable, even for baby carriages, walking frames, etc.).
