City forest

Another successful model is the municipal forest. in 2005, the approx. 1,200 hectares of forest fell under the responsibility of the depot.

The district manager manages and operates the Bad Homburg municipal forest and deploys our foresters in economically sensible areas of responsibility. The foresters support the tree crew in the urban area during the summer months. Sustainable timber management goes hand in hand with ensuring the recreational function of Bad Homburg's green lung close to the city.
