Canal maintenance

Almost nobody knows the canals. But everyone needs the canals. The canals are in Bad Homburg. You can see the gullies and manholes on the surface. Eight sewer specialists look after the sewers every day.

They use special vehicles to clean the entire public sewer network. The sewer network is very long. They remove road dirt from a large number of gullies. They repair manholes. They combat the rat population.

Water maintenance

We are also responsible for maintaining all the streams in the city. We work closely with the fire department. We help in the event of flooding. We make sure that there is no flooding beforehand.
