Channel maintenance

Hardly anyone knows them, but everyone needs them. Bad Homburg's sewers and the gully boxes and manholes visible on the surface. They are the daily business of our eight sewer specialists.

They use special vehicles to clean the entire public sewer network of around 270 kilometers, remove street dirt from 5,000 cesspits and repair manholes. Not forgetting the containment of the uninvited rat population.

Watercourse maintenance

Maintaining the watercourses in the city with all its streams is also one of our tasks. In close cooperation with the fire department, we are also on standby in the event of flooding and ensure that this does not happen in the first place through systematic prevention.
