Accessibility

The Gonzenheim and Ober-Eschbach subway stations are completely barrier-free on both sides.

In the station, the platforms of the S-Bahn can be reached by elevator, but different types of carriages stop there.

Taunusbahn: There are a few individual connections on the Taunusbahn that are operated with barrier-free coaches (LINT) (marked blue in the timetable).

S-Bahn: If you want to take the S-Bahn, you have to go to the start of the train. The train driver can provide a ramp so that you can board the train. You can search for barrier-free connections on the RMV website. Please note that the barrier-free bus stops are not yet included.

You can find out which bus stops in Bad Homburg have been made barrier-free in the guide for people with disabilities. The guide can be downloaded as a PDF (latest version) and is available at the Tourist Info + Service in the Kurhaus and in the town store in the town hall. On request, the advice service for people with disabilities will send you a map of Bad Homburg's public transport network with the marked stops (phone 06172/ 100 5033).
