Gonzenheim local history museum

The Gonzenheim local history museum is located in an old farmhouse. The farm dates back to 1619 and is called Kitzenhof. The museum was opened in 2013. The Gonzenheim History Working Group came up with the idea.

In the exhibition you can see the history of the place. History changes over time. The history of the Kitzenhof is also shown. You can also see old finds from Gonzenheim. There are things from the time of the Franks and Romans. These include things from everyday life, jewelry and weapons.

Opening hours

The museum is always open on Sundays. It is open from 3 to 5 pm. It is closed during the Hessian school vacations. Admission is free. Guided tours are also free.
