There are many books in the library. There are novels and non-fiction books. There are CDs, DVDs and CD-ROMs. There are magazines and newspapers. There are board games and console games. You can use e-media with a library card. These e-media are from the Onleiheverbund Hessen.
The media are organized in "worlds". These "worlds" are like people's lives. The user can find everything in one area. For example, there is the world "Atempausen". It contains everything for leisure time. For example, food, drink, travel and sport.
There are many events and exhibitions. These are for adults and children.
The Hölderlix reading café is on the first floor. You can sit there comfortably. We have workstations and PCs. There are chess tables with figures. There is plenty of seating. There is free W-LAN throughout the building. You can use it with your smartphone, tablet, eReader or laptop. We are barrier-free. We are a help island for children.
The Hölderlix reading café has food and drink. You can catch up on current topics with our magazines and newspapers. In the evenings there are often readings and other events in the café.

Tuesday to Friday from 11 am to 4 pm
Saturday from 11 am to 2 pm

You can return media. You can do this outside opening hours. You put the media in the letterbox. The letterbox is at the front entrance of the StadtBibliothek.
