Many books and other media are available at our branch. You can also use the online service with your library card.

Here, too, the media are organized into subject areas.

The new library in Oberhof has modern and old elements. It also has new technology and an inviting interior. There are books for children, young people and adults. There are also audio books, CDs, DVDs, magazines and games.

The library in Oberhof is an offer for media and leisure nearby. There is free WLAN in the rooms. So you can do a lot on the Internet.

The branch in Oberhof (Burgholzhäuserstr. 2b) is open for you from Tuesday to Thursday from 9:30 to 19:00. This is possible thanks to the Open Library.

The door does not open?

Then you are there outside service hours!

The door only opens when there is staff in the building.

If you are there during opening hours, the door will open for you. You must be 16 years or older. You must hold your library card against the screen in the column in front of the door at the bottom right. (The location is marked in red)

The card must be from the new generation. It begins with 01.... ID cards that begin with 00... or have a green color pattern will not open the door. The exchange is free of charge. Our staff in the branch office or in the main office can carry out the exchange.

Returns:

You return media via the return machine below the stairs on the first floor. If the library is closed, you cannot return anything.

The return box in front of the library in Oberhof is only open from Friday to Monday.

Please only return borrowed board games to the staff! Otherwise the large game boxes will block the return of other media.
