Bad Homburg vor der Höhe
In the middle of the Rhine-Main region lies a spa town. The town lies between Frankfurt and the Taunus. The city has tradition. The air in the city is like champagne.

2021 saw a new brand identity for the city group. This resulted in the trailer "Champagne air and inspiration".

Bad Homburg vor der Höhe is the district town of the Hochtaunuskreis. The town has many people. There are almost 55,000 people. The urban area is large. It is about 52 square kilometers. The town has a special status. It takes over tasks from the district.

Bad Homburg lies in the middle of the Rhine-Main region. To the south is the large city of Frankfurt am Main. To the north is the Taunus. Bad Homburg is a well-known health resort. Many people go on excursions there. The town has many stores. The town is an important business location.

There are many famous places in Bad Homburg. These include the Landgrave's Castle. It has a large white tower. The spa gardens are very large. It is a nature experience. There is also the François Blanc casino. Louisenstraße has many stores. There are two large churches. They are called St. Marien and Erlöserkirche.

The history of Bad Homburg is special. It used to be home to the Landgraviate of Hesse-Homburg. From the middle of the 19th century, many international guests came here. They visited the spa and the casino. British guests brought tennis and golf to Bad Homburg. This is where the sport began on the European mainland.
