City center district council
The city center district has had a local advisory council since 2015. This was decided by the city councillors. The members were elected on March 14, 2021. The Hessian municipal code regulates the tasks of the local advisory council.

Election as part of the local elections
The citizens of Innenstadt elect the members of the local advisory council. The election is held at the same time as the city council elections. The members work on a voluntary basis for their district. The local advisory council discusses important issues in the district. It also discusses the budget. The local advisory council can make suggestions. The inner city district is located to the east of Urseler Straße, Hindenburgring and the western development boundary of Dietigheimer Straße.

The local advisory council has eight members.
For the CDU: Silvia Argyrakis, Frank Ehlert, Eva Kühl, Thomas Meye.
For the Greens: Thomas Rehbein.
For the SPD: Stefanie Wassermeier.
For the FDP: Wolfgang Hottejan.
For the SU: Brigitte Gaiser.
The local chairman is Thomas Meye. Wolfgang Hottejan is his deputy.
