The water traffic light is now green

People in Bad Homburg use very little drinking water. Our own facilities and water from other places are sufficient.

There are no restrictions.

  • A drinking water emergency is when there is not enough drinking water. This happens when there is not enough water for the town or parts of the town. The town of Bad Homburg v. d. Höhe then says that there is a drinking water emergency. This is stated in the hazard prevention ordinance of 27.11.2019.

In a drinking water emergency, water may only be used for important things. Water may be used for personal hygiene, flushing the toilet, drinking and cooking.

If you don't comply, you have to pay money. This can be a lot of money. The magistrate can also set times when water is available.
