Put them in the bottle banks:
- Empty bottles and jars for canned food
- Glass packaging for medicines and cosmetics (e.g. cough syrup, face cream)
- Other glass packaging
Do not put in the bottle banks:
- Materials that are not glass
- Flat glass
- Mirrors
- Ceramics
- Porcelain
- Earthenware
- Broken or old glasses for drinking
Caps and labels
You do not have to remove caps and lids from jars and bottles. You can also throw them away in the yellow bag or yellow garbage can.
You do not have to remove labels. The recycler removes them during processing.
Cleaning
Empty glass packaging must be completely empty. You don't have to rinse or clean them. This saves water and protects the environment.
Different colored used glass
Used glass that you cannot identify with certainty should be put in the container for green glass. For example, blue bottles. This mixture can cope with many incorrect colors when it is melted down.
