How do I dispose of my construction waste correctly?
Since 2017, the depot no longer accepts construction waste at its recycling center. This includes Ytong and pumice stones. It also includes plasterboard, insulation materials, adhesives, silicone, plastic waste, cement, lime, mortar and building materials containing hazardous substances. Foils, cable ducts and plastics from the construction sector are also included.
Pure mineral construction waste is an exception. This includes bricks, tiles, concrete, hollow blocks, washbasins, toilet bowls and paving stones.
The depot had to take this measure. The quantities and costs of mixed construction waste have risen sharply. This regulation has always been included in the municipal waste statutes.
Mixed construction waste and construction site waste can be handed in to special disposal companies. This costs money.
