The new regulation for commercial waste has been in place since 01.08.2017. It regulates how to deal with waste from businesses and certain construction waste.
The aim is to ensure that less waste is incinerated. There is a lot of waste from businesses. The recycling rate is now low. It should be higher. It should be at least 30 percent.
Waste must be separated directly where it is produced. This allows more waste to be recycled.
Write it down
You must write down how much waste has been collected separately. You must also record how much waste could not be collected separately. This happens when it is not technically or economically possible. This waste is sent to a plant for pre-treatment or processing.
Please note: The recycling center does not accept commercial waste. There are no scales. Therefore, nothing can be documented.
