Bulky waste registration

You can easily register bulky waste using the online form. You will be redirected and leave the site of the depot.

Criteria for the collection of bulky waste

  • A lot of bulky waste is taken away.
  • The registered bulky waste must be placed on the street or sidewalk by 6 a.m. at the latest on the day of collection. It may not be placed there until the evening before at the earliest.
  • Bulky waste cannot be collected from private property such as garages or yards.
  • Bulky waste should only be placed at the roadside. Do not take bulky waste from green areas or behind hedges.
  • Please ensure that the sidewalk remains clear. Baby carriages and walking frames should be able to pass. Hydrants should remain clear. On very narrow streets without a sidewalk, the bulky waste must be placed on another section of the street. The bulky waste vehicle must be able to drive there, even if it is a long way away.
  • A residual waste garbage can from the town of Bad Homburg v. d. Höhe must be placed or registered on the property for the collection of bulky waste.
  • Bulky waste collection is free of charge in Bad Homburg v. d. Höhe. The company Meinhardt Städtereinigung GmbH & Co KG collects the bulky waste.
  • Bulky waste includes household items and furnishings. They are larger than 80 cm. They do not fit into the residual waste garbage cans. There are no other waste containers for them. Each item is no more than 2 meters tall. Each item weighs no more than a lot.

  • Floor coverings such as laminate or PVC
  • Feather beds
  • Windows and glass doors
  • Wooden interior doors

  • Furniture such as tables, chairs or cupboards
  • PVC corrugated sheets in small quantities
  • Mirrors and glass panes from furniture
  • Sports equipment such as skis
  • Wooden jump frames
  • Carpets and rugs

  • Small parts in bags or cardboard boxes

  • Waste oil

  • Car batteries, car tires and car parts
