City forest

Another successful model is the municipal forest. In 2005, the depot took over responsibility for the large forest area.

The district manager looks after the Bad Homburg municipal forest. He gives the foresters meaningful tasks. The foresters help the tree crew in the town in summer. The municipal forest should provide sustainable timber. The municipal forest should also offer recreation.
