Grave care and grave design
The beneficiaries are responsible. They must design the grave three months after the burial. The gravesite must be landscaped. At least half of the grave must be permeable to water. There are no special requirements for the design. The gravesite must be in good condition. This applies for the entire term of the right of use. The gravesite must be maintained. The gravestone must be secure. The authority checks the stability. The beneficiaries must restore the stability if necessary.
The cemetery statutes of the town of Bad Homburg v. d. Höhe describe the design of the grave planting and the grave monument. A stonemasonry company must erect the gravestone. The cemetery administration must approve this in advance. The approval costs nothing. You will receive an application for approval of the gravestone. You will receive the application from us or the stonemasonry company. A border, grave slabs and a gravestone require approval. You must submit the gravestone design. The design must have a ground plan and a side view. The scale is 1:10. You must specify the material and the workmanship. You must submit the design twice.
