Born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Maria Emília accompanied her father (a Guitarist) to the Fado houses of her city. As a teenager she moved to the north of Portugal, where she continued her musical career first accompanying school and studies and then finally decided on the music, the Fado. Your first solo album was released in 2018. Since then, Maria Emília has been regarded as one of the best fadistas of the young generation.
