Bad Homburg v. d. Höhe and its districts
Bad Homburg v. d. Höhe is the district town of the Hochtaunus district. Around 55,000 people currently live here. The center of the town is Louisenstraße, a shopping street that has largely been developed into a pedestrian zone. Here you will find shopping arcades, department stores and exclusive specialty stores. Inviting cafés invite you to take a break.
The spa district with the Kaiser-Friedrich-Promenade and the adjoining spa gardens begins right next to Louisenstraße. On the other side of the shopping mile is Dorotheenstraße, which leads directly to the Landgrave's Palace with Bad Homburg's landmark, the "White Tower".
Adjacent to the city center, the districts with residential quarters, commercial and leisure facilities provide an attractive mix as a preferred place to live on the edge of the Taunus and at the gates of the Main metropolis of Frankfurt.
