Bad Homburg City deckchairs are back!
With the "Please take a seat" campaign, the city wants to contribute to a better quality of stay when shopping in the city center: retailers have the opportunity to order one or two rental deckchairs free of charge until March 31, 2025.

Retailers can order deckchairs until March 31

With the "Please take a seat" campaign, the city wants to contribute to a better quality of stay when shopping in the city center: retailers have until Monday, March 31, 2025 to order one or two deckchairs to borrow free of charge.

The chairs with a summery design and cheerful quotes will be placed in front of the stores during opening hours and encourage people to linger and shop. The deckchairs will be delivered from Tuesday, April 1, 2025 and the following days. Collection will take place after October 31.

Participating stores undertake to set up the deckchairs in front of their store every day of operation during the campaign period from April 1 to October 31, 2025 and to put them away again in the evening. The special use regulation will be lifted for setting up the deckchairs during the campaign period, but care must be taken to keep the escape routes and footpaths clear.

Stores can register until March 31 by sending an email to stadtmarketing@bad-homburg.de.

Place a binding order for your store now. The deckchairs are the property of the City of Bad Homburg/City Marketing and will be made available to the campaign participants for use free of charge. The deckchairs will be delivered from April 1, 2025 - collection after October 31, 2025. Please note the terms of use.

Terms of use "Bad Homburg City Deckchair"


The deckchairs are the property of the City of Bad Homburg/City Marketing and are provided free of charge for use by the campaign participants.

  • Participants in the campaign undertake to set up the deckchairs in front of the store on each day of the campaign, to chain them up with the accessories provided (if possible) and to put them away again in the evening.
  • The promotion is exempt from special usage fees. No additional registration required.
  • The deckchairs may only be set up in front of the registered store and should be accessible to everyone.
  • Participants are responsible for the proper handling of the material.
  • Deckchairs may not be set up if they are heavily soiled or damaged.
  • Please contact City Marketing (T. 06172 100 1350) in the event of damage or loss
  • NO escape routes, fire department access routes or footpaths may be obstructed.


As the availability of goods is limited and distribution is on a "first come, first serve" basis, we ask for a binding response by 31.03.2025.
