Berliner Siedlung/Gartenfeld local advisory council

The Berliner Siedlung/Gartenfeld local district was established on the basis of a city council resolution in 2015. The members were elected in the local elections on March 14, 2021. The establishment and tasks of the local advisory council are regulated in the Hessian municipal code.

Election as part of the local elections

The members of the local advisory council are elected by the citizens of the Berliner Siedlung/Gartenfeld district at the same time as the city councillors for the term of office of the city council. They work on a voluntary basis for their district. The local advisory council must be consulted on all important matters affecting the local district, in particular on the draft budget. It also has the right to make proposals in all matters concerning Berliner Siedlung/Gartenfeld.

The Berliner Siedlung/Gartenfeld district comprises that part of the Bad Homburg v. d. Höhe district that lies to the west of Urseler Straße and Hindenburgring, to the south of the northern development boundary of Saalburgstraße and to the east of Hohemarkstraße.

The local council consists of nine members.

For the CDU: Alischa Kisser, Karin Spies, Domenico Stagno, Frank Dittrich
For the Greens: Horst Blaeser, Oliver Messer.
For the SPD: Beate Denfeld.
For the FDP: Brigitte Borgel.

The head of the local council is Karin Spies. She is represented by Beate Denfeld and Horst Blaeser.
