Ober-Erlenbach local advisory council
The district of Ober-Erlenbach has had a local advisory council since 1972 as a result of the agreements on incorporation in the course of the territorial reform. The establishment and duties of the local advisory council are regulated in the Hessian municipal code.

Election as part of the local elections
The members of the local advisory council are elected by the citizens of Ober-Erlenbach at the same time as the town councillors for the term of office of the town council. They work on a voluntary basis for their district. The local advisory council must be consulted on all important matters affecting the local district, in particular on the draft budget. It also has the right to make proposals in all matters concerning Ober-Erlenbach.

The local advisory council consists of nine members.
For the CDU: Martin Burk, Sighild Drnikovic, Angelika Hartmann, Monika Kohlmann, Dr. Christian Waller.
For the GRÜNEN: Wolfgang Eilers, Inge-Lore Kausen.
For the SPD: Wilma Schnorrenberger, Onno Onneken.
