City center local advisory council
The inner city district has a local advisory council as a result of a resolution passed by the city council in 2015. The members were elected in the local elections on March 14, 2021. The establishment and tasks of the local advisory council are regulated in the Hessian municipal code.

Election as part of the local elections
The members of the local advisory council are elected by the citizens of Innenstadt at the same time as the city councillors for the term of office of the city council. They work on a voluntary basis for their district. The local advisory council must be consulted on all important matters affecting the local district, in particular on the draft budget. It also has the right to make proposals in all matters concerning the inner city. The inner city district comprises that part of the Bad Homburg v.d.Höhe district that lies to the east of Urseler Straße, Hindenburgring and the western development boundary of Dietigheimer Straße.

For the CDU: Silvia Argyrakis, Frank Ehlert, Eva Kühl, Thomas Meye.
For the Greens: Thomas Rehbein.
For the SPD: Stefanie Wassermeier.
For the FDP: Wolfgang Hottejan.
For the SU: Brigitte Gaiser.
The head of the local council (chairman of the local advisory council) is Thomas Meye. He is represented by Wolfgang Hottejan.
