Girls' Day

Many girls learned about professions on this day of action. There were more than 650,000 girls. Few women work in these professions. On Girls' Day, schoolgirls from Year 5 onwards experience the world of work. They learn about careers in technology, trades, engineering and natural sciences. They also meet women in leading positions in business and politics. Girls' Day is important for companies in Germany. It helps in the search for new employees.
