What is it about?

Reading mentors help children. They work together with schools. They help children to read. They help children to speak. They help children to understand German texts. The joy of language is important. Having fun with books is important. Reading mentors come to the elementary school once a week. They go with the child to a quiet corner. This takes 20 minutes. The child reads a text aloud. The reading mentor helps with the reading. The reading mentor talks to the child about the text.
