Sewer network - new construction and maintenance
The local sewer system drains water from our town. We check the sewers often. Some sewers in the city are very old. They are about 100 years old. We have to repair or renew them.
As-built plans for the local sewer system
You are planning construction work in public areas. Or you are planning buildings that will be connected to the sewer system. Then we can provide you with plans of the wastewater system. You are a building owner or planner. You will receive the plans as a PDF file. The plans are for printing in DIN A4 size. The scale is 1:500. We will need to speak to you for more plans.
We do not have plans for private drainage systems. In private residential construction, there are often no plans after construction work. We often only have approval plans. These plans are sometimes different from the construction work.
New sewers and development
We need new sewers. This is important for new residential and commercial areas. We also need new sewers when requirements change. We have to replace old sewers when they are broken. We plan the construction work anew every year.
Sewage charges and sewage contribution
New properties need wastewater connections. The owners pay wastewater contributions. The contributions depend on the size of the property.
Sewage charges cover the costs of the sewage system and treatment plant. The charge has two parts. One part is for wastewater. It depends on fresh water consumption. The other part is for rainwater. It depends on the paved area. You can reduce the rainwater charge. To do this, rainwater is collected in cisterns. The current charges can be found in the municipal wastewater regulations.
