There is no additional charge to the normal marriage ceremony fee for a wedding ceremony in the registry office. Please note: There is room for a maximum of 25 guests.

Marriage in the Kaiser-Wilhelms-Bad

The ambience for a civil wedding could hardly be more stylish and romantic: The small but tastefully furnished library in the Kaiser-Wilhelms-Bad is converted into Wedding Hall II of the Bad Homburg registry office on certain Saturdays of the year. Here you have the opportunity to say "I do" in historic surroundings. Please contact the registry office for the exact dates. In addition to the normal fees, a room rental fee is charged for the hall, which you can also enquire about at the registry office.

Inaugurated in 1890, the bathhouse was one of the focal points of social life in the elegant cosmopolitan spa town of Homburg v. d. Höhe at the turn of the century. Its Renaissance style is still captivating today. When the weather is fine, however, you can also toast the wedding couple with a glass of champagne in front of the Kaiser-Wilhelms-Bad against the backdrop of the listed spa gardens.

If you are interested in reserving the lounge in the Kaiser-Wilhelms-Bad for a champagne reception, please do not hesitate to contact us. The lounge offers space for a maximum of 40 people and can be rented for €75, drinks and snacks must also be booked.

Please note: There is room for a maximum of 30 guests in the wedding hall.

The flying of wedding pigeons is only permitted if a certification from the Verband Deutscher Brieftaubenzüchter e.V. is presented in advance. Furthermore, a permit in accordance with §11 of the Animal Welfare Act for the commercial "display" of (racing) pigeons must be applied for from the responsible veterinary office.

Even if the scattering of rice is supposed to bring good luck to the bride and groom: Please refrain from doing so for you and your guests. We also ask you to refrain from throwing confetti, flowers or similar.

The Kur- und Kongreß-GmbH team will be happy to help you make the most beautiful day of your life an unforgettable experience by calling 06172/178-3151.

A literary ambience awaits you in the Kaiser-Wilhelms-Bad: The civil wedding ceremony is held in the library.

Wedding in the Louissaal in Bad Homburg Castle

Couples looking for a special flair can get married in the stately Landgrave's Palace. The splendidly furnished wedding hall was part of the apartments of Landgrave Ludwig von Hessen-Homburg (1770-1839), hence the French name Louissaal.

You can get married in the Louissaal on certain Saturdays. Information is available from the registry office.

A room rental fee of 300 euros is charged for the hall in addition to the normal fees.

Please note: A maximum of 40 seats are available for guests.

Subsequent receptions in the castle park are possible; Annette Taeger-Scherb from the State Palaces and Gardens of Hesse can make you an offer by calling 06172 9262-135 or visiting annette.taeger-scherb@schloesser.hessen.de.

New: Wedding ceremony at Villa Wertheimber

Villa Wertheimber is located in the picturesque Gustavsgarten, part of the Landgraves' Garden Landscape.

in 1898, the Frankfurt banker Wertheimber acquired the property and expanded it by purchasing the eastern area facing the Louisgarten. The building has been renovated and now houses the town archive in parts of the building. The remaining rooms can be used for events.

The villa can be used as a wedding venue from 2018.

With full seating, the first floor can accommodate almost 150 people; without seating, more than 400 guests can celebrate there.

Please note: The house must be rented in its entirety. The wedding ceremony can then take place by individual arrangement between 10 am and 4 pm.
